Discovery: One of two ogham stones (I-COR-071) discovered in souterrain (CO061-022001-) where it formed part of the ‘upright stones’ (Quarry 1896, 382).

Findspot: Monataggart (Móin an tSagairt), Co. Cork, Ireland (ITM Coordinates: 545879, 580808)

Current repository: Ireland National Museum of Ireland (inv. no. 1874:92)

Last recorded location(s): Purchased by the Royal Irish Academy and now part of the collection of the National Museum of Ireland (see DU018-367----).

Condition: According to Macalister (1945, 118), the stone is ‘broken in two, but the reading is quite clear and certain, though the fracture passes through’ the inscription.
