Provenance

Discovery: First mentioned in 1894 by Graves and found in ‘Ballinvoher townland’ but name of parish not townland in the barony of Corkaguiney. It may have come from or near Ballinvoher medieval parish church and graveyard in Rathduff.

VITALIN is the Latin name Vitalinus

This inscription may be dated to the first half of the sixth century based on the loss of the final -I of VITALIN and its preservation in COIMAGNI (McManus 1991, 94-95).
