Provenance

Discovery: Found by Macalister in 1906 in level pasture on a field boundary.

Findspot: Keenrath (Caoinráth), Co. Cork, Ireland (ITM Coordinates: 518717, 557012)

Last recorded location(s): In situ where it was visited and recorded using photogrammetry for the Ogham in 3D project in 2017.

Condition: The inscription is very weathered, as well as obscured by lichen and moss, with no more than traces of possible ogham strokes discernible.

Text field: Macalister (1945, 79) noted that ‘the inscription is on the dexter angle of the eastern face’ (on the side facing the field boundary) and begins at approximately 0.5m and ends at 1.5m above ground level.

Letters: Macalister (1945, 79) ascertained that the inscription was pocked.
