Provenance

Discovery: Field survey notes, 1995: re-used as a lintel in a souterrain (KE021-122001-) in a ringfort (KE021-122----) in this townland. It is a narrow sandstone slab in the roof of the passage N of the main chamber.

Letters: 15 scores, lightly chiselled and shallow, can be made out on the south angle (6 on narrow face, 9 on the broad face) before the inscription disappears into the wall of the souterrain. Some of the scores on the broad face may cross the angle but it is not possible to see because of the position of the lintel. (Field survey notes, 1995)
