Las 25 letras del alfabeto Ogham — conocidas como fews o feda — llevan ricas asociaciones con árboles, estaciones, pájaros y cualidades de vida. Hoy se usan como sistema de adivinación: un conjunto de símbolos para la reflexión, la orientación y el trabajo interior.
¿Usaban los Celtas Antiguos el Ogham para la Adivinación?
La respuesta corta es: probablemente no de la forma en que lo usan los practicantes modernos — al menos no en ninguna forma que podamos verificar arqueológicamente.
Las más de 400 inscripciones Ogham supervivientes son casi en su totalidad piedras conmemorativas. Lo que los manuscritos medievales sí preservan es un elaborado sistema de correspondencias para cada letra Ogham. La fuente más importante es el Libro de Ballymote (c. 1390).
¿Qué son los Fews?
En la adivinación Ogham, cada letra individual se llama un few (irlandés antiguo: fid, plural feda). Un conjunto completo de 25 fews se llama coelbren en algunas tradiciones.

1. El Sorteo Único

Crear tus Propias Varitas Ogham
Corta 25 palitos a aproximadamente la misma longitud (10–15 cm). Líjalos hasta que queden lisos e inscribe cada uno con un carácter Ogham — tallado, quemado o dibujado con tinta permanente. Guarda tus varitas terminadas en una bolsa de tela.
Una Nota sobre los Fews Invertidos
Debido a que los caracteres Ogham son direccionales, a una varita sacada al revés o invertida a veces se le da una interpretación opuesta. Las inversiones rara vez son "malas" — son invitaciones a ver un patrón desde un ángulo diferente.
