Quert

What is Quert?

Quert (pronounced approximately as its Latin equivalent, Q) is one of the letters of the ancient Ogham alphabet, the edge-carved writing system used in early medieval Ireland and Britain. It belongs to the Aicme hÚatha.

In the traditional Celtic tree calendar associated with Ogham, Quert is linked to the Apple tree.

How to Write Quert

In the Aicme hÚatha, strokes are drawn to the left of the central stem line (the druim).
